ABOUT ME
A father, nurse, small-business owner and community member.
My name is Manjot Kang, and I am proud to call our community home. I am a father, nurse, small-business owner, and active community member who believes strongly in service, responsibility, and giving back.
My career in healthcare has taught me the importance of listening, compassion, advocacy, teamwork, and accountability. Every day, I work with people from different backgrounds and circumstances, and I have learned that good decisions begin with understanding and listening.
Community involvement has also been an important part of my life. I am actively involved with Humanity Welfare Club; Sher-E-Punjab Club; and Sikh Motorcycle Club Manitoba.
Above all, I am a father who cares deeply about the education, well-being, and future of our children. I believe strong schools are built when families, educators, trustees, and communities work together.
I am bringing my experience in healthcare, community service, and everyday life to this campaign—with a commitment to listen, learn, work hard, and serve our community with integrity.

WHY I'M RUNNING
A personal and community-driven decision.
As a father, I have seen firsthand some of the challenges families can face when a child requires additional support at school. Through conversations with other parents in our community, I have learned that many families share similar concerns. These experiences inspired me to step forward—not only to advocate for students who need additional support, but to contribute to a stronger school system for every child.
As a nurse, I have learned the importance of listening carefully, understanding different perspectives, advocating for others, and making thoughtful and responsible decisions. I believe these same values are important in public service.
I am running because I want to listen to students, parents, educators, and community members and bring their voices to the table. I do not expect to have all the answers. I am committed to listening, learning, asking questions, and working collaboratively to make decisions that put students first.
Every child deserves the opportunity and support to succeed.
